I have been using Eventbrite for about a year, with great success. *I am currently redesigning my website and would like to have greater integration with Eventbrite. *In general, I would like to enable functionality that requires a positive identity match between a user on my site and the same user as he buys a ticket on Eventbrite. *In particular:
- A user authenticates on my site, clicks a 'register now' button which takes him to Eventbrite where he can buy a ticket - but someone not authenticated on my site cannot buy the same ticket. - My site knows when someone has bought a ticket on Eventbrite and is able to associate that ticket with a particular user on my site (ie so I can display the fact that one of my users has purchased a ticket) Ideally this is not dependent on any manual process by the user (eg that he used the same email address when registering for my site as he did when purchasing the ticket on Eventbrite). I have looked at the API documentation and some features like discount codes but it's not clear to me if what I'm trying to do is possible. *Can someone help? Best regards, Graham. |
